Bridge Engineering Services was established in 1988 by Jim and Gerry O’Neill, having previously worked for 15 years in the family steel fabrication business. Gerry’s son Gearoid, joined the business in 2006 and took over as MD in 2014, providing a third generation of the family in the steel business.
Since its inception the company has steadily grown and has successfully completed a wide range of high quality projects in construction and industry. The extensive knowledge and experience of the directors, staff and draughting office has enabled the company to deliver construction projects with the complete assurance of cost, quality and on-time delivery.

Health & Safety is an integral part of our business and is supported by senior management and employees at all levels of the organisation.
The Health and Safety of all our employees, contractors, visitors and members of the public are of paramount importance to Bridge Engineering. The company has invested heavily in safety equipment, which not only ensures the safety of our personnel, but also helps us to avoid downtime and maintain workflow.
We also believe that staff training is essential to the company’s continued success and have invested in continuous training and constant performance monitoring which has resulted in an excellent safety record.

We are committed to fabricating, delivering and erecting top quality structural and secondary steelwork for our clients and customers. Our working practices ensure that projects and contracts are carefully managed and monitored throughout all stages of design, manufacture and erection, whilst keeping our clients clearly informed throughout each phase.
The company has experience working across a number of sectors including construction, pharmaceutical (including cleanroom environments), electricity power stations, cement factories, oil refineries etc…
Bridge Engineering Services has a strong team of talented fabricators and experienced erectors with high standards for safety and performance. Whether the project is simple or complex, the team can meet the demands of any size project. Our list of projects and clients speaks volumes for our record.
Quality Assurance
Bridge Engineering Services Ltd are committed to providing a quality service to our Customers at all times.
In order to ensure Customer satisfaction top management have established a documented quality system ISO 9001:2015 throughout the organisation.
Our manufacturing facility is CE certified and in compliance with regulation 305/2011/EU.
(The Construction Products Regulation or CPR)
FPC and Welding Certificates issued from SCCS confirming the compliance and effective implementation of our management system in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1090-1 + A1:2011.
All staff received the relevant training to ensure they can fully comply with the QMS requirements and therefore provide the necessary level of service to our Customers.
In undertaking a commitment to ISO 9001:2015, the organisation has also made a commitment to continually improve and this will be undertaken through listening to our customers and employees and through regular auditing of our systems and acting on any feasible opportunity that presents itself.
We have set ourselves quality and business objectives and these are reviewed annually at our management review meeting.
